Dear friends of the Lorrainebad sauna
Happy New Year!
The Lorrainebad sauna should be open to everyone. We are also committed to the goal of social inclusion with our charter of values. We always try to base our actions on it. We are also open to input and suggestions for improvement as we move forward step by step.
We used to call Monday Women’s Day. Women should then be granted a safe space in the Lorrainebad sauna. It has always been clear to us that people who identify as inter, trans, non-binary or agender are also welcome on this day. To express this explicitly from now on, Monday is now called FLINTA Day. The acronym FLINTA stands for women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people – in other words, for all those who are patriarchally discriminated against on the basis of their gender identity. However, our previous approach on Mondays will not change; Mondays will continue as usual.
In addition, an exchange with the TGNS (Transgender Network Switzerland – www.tgns.ch) resulted in a poster on the diversity of physicality.

Illustrator Andrea Vollgas created the poster. Andrea is “a queer, fat artist who celebrates queerness, diversity, body acceptance and sexuality.” – Values that we share with Andrea and the TGNS and that we want to make visible with the poster. If you liked the poster: The poster is available here at a special price.
We look forward to seeing you again soon in the new year
