\nSauna heat, cool Aare and lovely people – winter was beautiful. It ended for us on March 24 and we are making way for spring and summer at the Lorrainebad. The bathing season starts in mid-May.
\nMany thanks for the unforgettable encounters. See you again on the sunbathing lawn or next winter (from the end of October 26) in the flickering light of the sauna stove in the Lorrainebad. Next winter our yurts will be set up again at the Lorrainebad.

Public open-air sauna in Bern, in the Lorrainebad, on the banks of the Aare.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\nOur rustic sauna in the Lorrainebad is characterized by sweat-inducing L\u00f6ylys (infusions, with agreement and at the discretion of the sauna guests) in the light of the crackling wood-burning fire. The sauna season lasts from the end of October to the end of March. You can find the latest newsletters in our sidebar on the right. <\/p>\nGood to know<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n\n- No reservations, no private groups<\/strong>. We are a public sauna in a public place, our operation is open to the public whenever possible. <\/li>\n
- If the Lorrainebad sauna is fully booked, there may be waiting times before entry<\/strong>. Check the current capacity<\/strong> on our website – so that you don’t walk to the Aare for nothing.<\/li>\n
- The Sauna Lorrainebad is operated by the Sauna Lorrainebad Association<\/strong>. We are committed to sauna culture on the banks of the River Aare and a place to relax and meet in accordance with the values of our values charter<\/a>. <\/li>\n
- Unfortunately, the Lorrainebad sauna is not wheelchair accessible.<\/li>\n
- Naked or in swimwear – you can sauna however you feel more comfortable. The main thing is that you don’t get any sweat on the wood. <\/li>\n
- A mixed changing room is available. If required, the toilets can be used as individual changing rooms. <\/li>\n
- Payment is possible with cash, Twint or card.<\/li>\n
- Sauna visits are possible from the age of 18 and from the age of 12 when accompanied by an adult.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
